What the title of this thread says. ;P Introduce yourself, so we can become better acquainted. I guess I'll go first...o_o;

Hello! My name is Luis, currently best known as Luu Sky Sapphire. I'm an avid anime/manga fan who also loves reading, writing and fitness (mainly yoga and martial arts).

I'm in charge of two other websites, ShizNat Webs and Mai-Multiverse Forum:

I'm Rachel, and I'm known by many Internet nicknames- DigiExpert, chibirachy, Rosenal, and Saber-chan. It all depends on the website. Most know me as DigiExpert or chibirachy.

I'm a more recent Simoun fan, who's been quite active in the fandom, earning the nickname "Sibylla Aurea of Simoun Fanfic" and I'm also the organizer for the Summer of Simoun event, which is going strong currently.

Other than my writing, which is my biggest thing, I teach for a living. All my students are usually my height or as tall as me O.o And they're only 10 and 11. Crazy!

You have a cute host of nicknames, but I'll stick with Rachel. Since you're my partner, we shall be personal. ^_~

Ah, you're a teacher! So am I, I'm a yoga instructor. lol Wha-wha-what?! So if your 10-11 year old students are usually your height, then you must be really short! *pets you*

Yep teacher and yes, most are my height and some are taller. And as Aaeru would probably say "I'm not short!" And yet, I'm not even two inches taller than her XD More like barely an inch.

An introduction thread seems a natural place for a first post, so here I go.

I can be called Silverzephyr (and therefore also either Silver or Zephyr or...I think Rachy's called me SZ) although my non-interwebs name is Emma. I don't have a preference really so call me whatever strikes your fancy (and no Rachy that does not mean you can call me spiffy jo jack ). My middle name is Rose, which I never go by but I felt the need to mention it because I think it is pretty (despite half of the girls I've ever met having that same middle name).

You can probably tell by all of the parentheses that I say many rambly and irrelevant things. That is probably a good thing to know about me. Rachy will attest to it (how many times can I mention you in this post? ).

Real life stuff: I'm 17 and live in Michigan. I have recently begun to learn to cook and enjoy that. I'm a vegetarian so all of the food I cook is meatless. In real life I am quite the introvert although I am far more chatty on the internet. One of my favorite activities is pacing in circles around my kitchen counter while listening to my iPod and thinking about whatever is catching my fancy at the moment.

I pretty much always use proper grammar/punctuation/etc. because my mom was an editor and it is ingrained in me, however SOMETIMES I USE CAPSLOCK.

Fandom stuff: Simoun is pretty much my all-time favorite fandom. I have so much love for it and it has been my favorite anime since a year and a half ago (January 2008) when I first watched it. Other anime I like are other yuri series, those being Aoi Hana, Marimite, Blue Drop, and Utena, and some highschool romances of the heart-warming variety (Clannad, Kimi ni Todoke, Toradora). I also have been into some video games from time to time, most recently Persona 4. I've been on-and-off into Fire Emblem (particularly Path of Radiance) for a while too although that's taken the back burner lately.

Some quick Simoun-related stuff about me: I am an enormous AnubitufxGuragief shipper and they are my two favorite characters of the series (and...pretty much anything ever). My next three favorite characters are Mamiina, Rodoreamon, and Yun. Most of the rest of the characters range from me liking them to adoring them with a couple of exceptions in the form of a few characters I just don't think about much and two I actively dislike. My other non-AnuxGura ships of the series are MamiinaxRodoreamon, WapourifxMorinas, and AaeruxNeviril.

This is...quite long already and I can't think of any other information I can pass off as relevant, so I think that's that for now.

I call you SZ cause my fingers get tongue tied typing up your name. I always manage to misplace the y and the r at the end every time. But yes, you are still Spiffy Jo Jack. Come on now, it is a name of awesomeness.

I'm curious though. Who are the characters you just can't stand?

Paraietta is the only member of the main cast who I really don't like. The only other character I dislike is the defense minister but he's not main enough of a character to really care about. I don't care much about the twins since I didn't find them very interesting, but I don't particularly dislike them either. I think I at least like everyone else (well...saying I like Floe might be a stretch and I don't care much for Halconf either, but he's a very minor character so...ah well).

And yes, if I ever actually finish anything fic-wise I'll post it here. XD

Ah I see. I was curious. Somehow I thought the sisters might come up. Why does no one ever list them as twins? They are the same age, but we only seem them dubbed as sisters.

Paraietta in the future seems like someone I could like based on the one scene of her in the series, although there's not enough in the show itself to go by, but I do like your interpretation of her in your fic.

I love: books, nature, animals, children, snow, music, and, in Simoun, Yun, Rodore, Mamiina, Rodore/Mamiina, Dominura and Limone, the music, the themes, the character development, and all of the various eternal maidens.

I'm Flying Lesbian, 26-year-old flowershop worker from Finland. My alias in Livejournal is cityvampire. English isn't my native language (obviously), so I apologize if at times I write awkwardly or incorrectly.

I'm not much of an anime/manga person, because my taste is very limited - I only watch/read yuri and vampire stuff. My favorites are Simoun, Marimite, Canaan and Hayate x Blade. My other hobbies include dancing, archery and European swordmanship. And collecting bat plushies, bats are my favorite animals. I used to larp and do RPG when I was younger, but haven't done those for some time.

I have a bad habit of lurking in forums without posting, because most of the time I have nothing much to add to threads and I try to avoid useless posting. But I'll try to get over this and add something to conversations.

I chose Kaimu as my avatar for two reasons. One: If I were a sibylla, I'd definitely be a sagitta (and Kaimu is one of those characters that mostly fly sagitta). Not sure why, but the idea of flying auriga makes me nervous, so I'd rather drive the back seat. Two: I'm a bit proud of my long fingernails, so the picture fits perfectly. Like Kaimu, I cannot stand uneven clawage.

My name is a collection of cheap jokes. Partly it makes fun of a famous Finnish runner who was known by nickname Flying Finn, and partly of the Finnish slang word for lesbian, "lepakko" (a bat). Bats fly, so "Flying Lesbian", get it? Lame joke, but still, the name is quite fitting for a Simoun Forum, I think.

Welcome aboard! I'm glad to see you've joined us here. It's interesting to see your reasons behind choosing Kaimu, as well as your username. Both are great stories.

My real name is Sara, so for years I have compensated with ridiculous nicknames--"Shimy" is the one that seems to have stuck for good (taken from my previous-use-for-everything screenname of 'animeeyeshime' -> 'shime'/'s-hime' -> 'shimy') I do love that my name means "princess" and usually wordplay on that whenever possible. (Or just wordplay in general--my LJ is rosenmaiden)

I'm 21, a college student, and married. No kids, three cats--Arthas the Lich Kitty, Bear (also known as Mr. Bear or Bear-Bear), and the newest addition whom my husband is intent on calling Loli or Mahou, though I rather like her shelter name of Gondala.

I like to think I am a magical girl ;3 Sailormoon got me into anime, Cardcaptor Sakura got me in even further, and I am a sucker for all things magical and girly. So Simoun, with gorgeous airships that leave SPARKLE TRAILS? Sign me up!

I am perhaps the only person who thought Twilight having vampires that sparkled was BRILLIANT (then again, everything is better with sparkles!) though I was terribly disappointed in the level of sparkle in the Twilight movie. I was expecting ~henshin level sparkles~ not lame excuses for them

In other fandoms besides the obvious (Simoun, Rozen Maiden, anything sufficiently shoujo), I am a huge Inuyasha fan/buff (Sesshmom made my ~year~) and also a big Bleach fan, if only because of Yachiru Kusajishi and Zaraki Kenpachi <3 Also Harry Potter--one of the crowning achievements of my high school experience being the Headmistress of 'The Portkey', the Harry Potter club my friend and I started. We had enough people to field a few wicked games of human-Wizard's Chess, attempted to play ground Quidditch with rather encouraging success, and were just that geeky.

I also collect ball-jointed dolls, and will be dressing up two of my smallest as sibyllae for Nan Desu Kan '10 (and hopefully dressing up as Neviril alongside them).

I only sat through the first Twilight movie and imo, they didn't try with that movie. ^^; It's not bad (as in unwatchable bad) like people say, but I don't see the appeal at all. As for sparkles (sparkles rule!), they only work in magical girl anime. That is all! X3 Sailor Moon and CCS are great. You wouldn't happen to be into Saint Tail, Tokyo Mew Mew, Shugo Chara, Mai HiME or Mai Otome would you?
