Randomly searching for Aaeru in Japanese again and came across this wiki page that has a ton of simple ASCII art for what seems like all of the characters. It's really neat to look at. The page I link you to is like the index so you'll just need to click the links in the list to go to the pages. Here's the site.
Here's an example. I had to use "prnt scrn" to get the image, then I just cropped in MSPaint. You can't make the characters on the keyboard unless you're able to display Japanese text, but you can easily make images of the ones you like. Of course, you could also see about fixing the areas that require Japanese characters.
