What Dominura Saw
I'm sure this is something we've all been wondering, what did Dominura see when see looked into the helix motor.
We'll never know for sure, but I do have some theories on what she may have seen.
She might have seen the meaning of life. She might have seen into the future or the past. There is evidence supporting her seeing into the past, since when she was in the past, she seemed to have knowledge over how the Simoun came to be.
Just to add a humor theory, maybe she saw the Caramilk Secret and now knows how they get the caramel in the Caramilk bar.
Anyways, what theories do the rest of you have on what she saw?

Re: What Dominura Saw
I always assumed that she had a particularly terrifying Tempus-Spatian equivalent of the Beatific Vision.
Re: What Dominura Saw
Whatever she saw, it did seem to explain to her about her role in the development and advancement of Simoun use in the past. As for what specifically? I suppose it had something to do with the history of the land and the people, spanning the entire timeline of their world...
I know when I had no idea what she really saw, I was thinking something like she saw Amuria's soul stuck inside the helical motor. Her reaction almost seemed to be terrified... And at the time, there was speculation from other nations about the Simoun being diabolical in nature, and other speculation about them being simply machines, and not divine at all.
I suppose that was my other conclusion too, that she couldn't handle the truth of them being simply machines, somehow.
