Favorite Simoun musics?

Whether instrumental or vocal, which song/songs from Simoun do you enjoy most?

Is it strange that I love the closing, Inori no Uta, more than the opening? Don't get me wrong, the opening is gorgeous and always sets you in the right mood. But when the episode ends, Inori no Uta puts me in that mystifying "what's gonna happen next" mood. >_> It's hard to explain. lol



Yeah, Youen Naru Kizuna no Hibiki is probably the most overplayed BGM in the entire series (so says my ex-gf lol) but I adore it. So should you! XD

Tatakau Sora no Hate, Courage to Tomorrow, Oozora no Auriga, Rodoreamon: Tsubasa no Komoriuta (T_____T), Utsukushikereba Soredeii, Inori no Uta, Youen Naru Kizuna no Hibiki, Doukoku Kooru Tempest, and Simulacrum Miyakuni. Oh, and the whole Woman-Nation suite.

I think Simoun is the only series in which I enjoy the OP and the ED. Usually I don't care for the EDs of most shows I watch, but I enjoy this one.

Favorite one though. That's hard since there's a lot of good music to begin with. I liked the OP more after I found out it was written with Neviril in mind. Made a lot more sense to me then. I also love Door to a New World, the tune Aaeru's music box plays. I want that music box.

Really though, I can't choose. Although, since we're speaking of music, have you seen the video for Oozora no Auriga where someone actually arranged for a group to play it? It's awesome.

The person who did was if I recall correctly actually an acquaintance of mine. He's awesome.

The music in Simoun is so much love. The opening and ending themes both set the right mood. I feel the opening really suits the series and the ending always amplifies the chills I get at the end of each episode.

As for the soundtrack itself, I adore Oozora no Auriga, Shizuka Naru Inori no Koe, Kanashimi no Simoun Shivuyura, Tabidachi no Yokan, Youen Naru Kizuna no Hibiki, Rekishi wa Kataru, and Tatakau Sora no Hate (I just had to search through my iPod for all of those names XD). Also, the song Rodoreamon sings and the song Dominura sings (which I wish was on the soundtrack). I like more though, those are just a few favorites. Speaking of songs I wish were on the OST, there are a couple of sad piano pieces in the show that don't seem to be on it, one of which plays in the Yun/Onashia scene ( ;____; ) and the other I think plays at the beginning of episode 2 among other scenes. I especially wish the song at the very end of episode 16 was on the soundtrack though.

And yeah, the orchestra version of Oozora no Auriga is awesome.

Slightly off the topic, but...

Would anyone know, if there is an English translation of the PS2 game's opening song (Savage Genius - Atashi no Subete)? I've been looking, but can only find translation for the first verse.

Are you just looking for the text translation? You should have Rodoreamon's Lullaby, Luu. It's on one of the OSTs and if you don't I can get you that.
